What other things can you make out of a boxed cake mix besides cake?

It's still 'cake' but with a twist. I found a recipe using ice cream cones(flat bottom kind). Mix the cake mix according to the directions on the box. Wrap the bottom of each cone with foil and place in a muffin pan. Fill cone about 1/2 way (overfilling with cause cake to spill over top). Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Let cones cool completely before frosting.

These are great for any kind of party. I did them for the 4th of July once and used a white cake mix and added red and blue cake decorating chips to the batter. Then frosted with white frosting and added red and blue sugar sprinkles to each. No plates or forks to contend with and the kids really loved them.
